What is CASLI?
CASLI = Center for the Assessment of Sign Language Interpreters
A separate, independent nonprofit that manages the testing and certification process for interpreters of signed languages.
It was created because RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) decided to step away from administering exams directly.
CASLI oversees the Written Test (Knowledge Exam) and the Performance Exam (Interview & Performance Exam, aka IP) that interpreters take to become certified.
