Scholarships are available in three categories:
Diversity
For applicants who represent diverse backgrounds.

First Time
For applicants attending DIC for the first time.

Hardship
For applicants experiencing financial challenges.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE ⚠️
You may only apply for one scholarship.
Scholarships are not available to individuals who are receiving financial support from Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) or any other external funding sources to attend DIC5.
Application Process
We’re excited to offer scholarships to support Deaf interpreters in attending the Deaf Interpreter Conference (DIC5)!
Please read the steps carefully.
STEP 1
All scholarship applicants must first complete their conference registration form to reserve a spot.
REGISTER
STEP 2
Submit your nonrefundable $100 deposit via Zeffy to secure your registration. Your scholarship application will only be considered once your deposit is received.
DEPOSIT
STEP 3
After your registration and deposit are confirmed, fill out the Scholarship Application Form and submit it by the February 15, 2026 deadline.
APPLICATION
STEP 4
By February 23, 2026, you will be notified regarding your scholarship status.
DECISION
STEP 5
Confirm your acceptance by March 1, 2026 to finalize your registration.
AWARDED

Your $100 deposit will be applied toward your cottage lodging as part of your registration.
Your Early Bird or Advance registration rate will be honored if payment is completed by
March 1, 2026.
NOT AWARDED
To Register:
OPTION 1:
Pay the FULL balance (early bird or advance rate) upfront by March 1, 2026.
OPTION 2:
If you prefer an installment option, choose A or B and begin your FIRST payment by March 1, 2026.
Your $100 deposit will be applied toward your cottage lodging as part of your registration.
