Artificial intelligence is transforming how language professionals draft, organize, and analyze information. Deaf Interpreters must understand how these tools function, where they add value, and where professional judgment remains essential. This workshop offers a practical exploration of AI within Deaf Interpreter workflow. Participants will observe live demonstrations, practice prompt construction, evaluate AI-generated output for cultural and ethical risks, and discuss confidentiality and professional boundaries. Emphasis is placed on using AI as a strategic support tool to enhance efficiency, preparation, and clarity — while maintaining Deaf-centered linguistic and cultural expertise. Designed for both beginners and interpreters already experimenting with AI, this session positions Deaf Interpreters to stay informed, adaptable, and professionally competitive in an evolving landscape.
